Three Flavour Sea Salt with Saffron
“Sea’s Gold”, as ancient Greeks referred to the sea salt, is one of nature’s purest products. Non-processed sea salt was considered a luxury ingredient, known until recently only to the top chefs, until it was discovered how valuable it is for our health. Sea salt is the only salt variety that contains all 92 minerals, necessary for healthy human cells (refined salt during processing loses more than 90 of the original minerals). Our sea salt is collected from the salt marshes of Kaloni gulf on the island of Lesvos. The best time to collect the salt is on a sunny interval following heavy rain. This way it is NATURE that cleans & sterilizes if for us. This saffron salt, with the addition of paprika, parsley and basil becomes a delicious all-natural addition to all dishes, when freshly ground in a mill.

Greek green olives pitted and smoked by us with herbs in order to give them a different and more interesting touch. We then preserve them in extra virgin olive oil. Enjoy them with your aperitifs, in salads (their oil can be a wonderful dressing) or as a side dish.
